Stayed at Falcon's Nest Retreat for a weekend getaway. Comfortable and warm house with all necessary amenities. Parking was convenient and easily accessible. The hosts were attentive and made sure we had a great stay. The location was a short Uber ride away from the city center. Steep staircase, but the house was well-maintained and clean. Grocery store nearby, open till late. Will definitely return, highly recommended!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The compact property was just a short 15-20 minute ride outside of the city walls. the decor and cleanliness were impeccable, and the hosts were accommodating in allowing us to check in early. We appreciated being able to make the most of our stay! the flat itself was cozy and comfortable, with hotel-quality bedding and towels. the cups and crockery were new and nice, and we enjoyed sitting in the small patio area for breakfast and evening drinks before heading out. Everything we needed was available, and there was even plenty of crockery for cooking if we had chosen to do so. the keys were conveniently located in a lockbox, and a parking disc was provided for street parking.
Our experience at Falcon's Nest Retreat was excellent. Cons: Nothing I didn't like, to be fair.

The garden view was just delightful, especially when I was sipping my tea by the cozy fireplace. And free parking? How extravagant!
Oh, and let's not forget the joy of trying to park on a crowded street with houses blocking every available space. Absolutely delightful.

The 1-bed house had super convenient parking and was surprisingly comfortable, warm, and quiet. The property owners were great with communication, allowing us to check in early so we didn't have to rush. The house was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, and even had a cozy little yard to enjoy the sun. It was in an ideal location, both for the racecourse and the city center. Plus, the price was fair for a bank holiday weekend. Simply mind-blowing!

We had a superb stay at Falcon's Nest Retreat. The location was fantastic, just a short walk away from all the attractions in York. The villa itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. We loved the modern facilities, including the washing machine and TVs in every room. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and providing excellent communication throughout our stay. The free parking was a huge bonus. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this villa.
Although the stairs were a little steep, they weren't a major issue for us. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a sofa bed in the living room to accommodate younger kids or teenagers.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved that the kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook delicious meals. the small convenience store nearby made it easy to grab any ingredients we needed. the apartment was cozy and comfortable, with a smart TV in both the lounge and bedroom. the free parking on the street was a bonus, as the owners just needed to register our car. It was also a great location, with a 20-minute walk to York City Walls.
Felt privileged, nothing to complain about.

We got great value for our money at this charming little retreat just outside of the city walls. The room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with a cozy yard to enjoy the sunshine. The location was ideal, just a short walk into the heart of the city. The staff were excellent, ensuring we had a smooth check-in and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
One tiny improvement for the morning meal would be to have more coffee options available, as we didn't find any Nespresso pods for the machine provided. However, there was instant coffee as an alternative.

The location was ideal, just a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. The house was clean and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. I especially loved having the parking permit included, making it convenient to explore the area. The communication with the property owners was great, allowing us to check in early and start our day at the races without rushing. The courtyard at the back of the house was a lovely spot to relax in the sun. I highly recommend this retreat.
Although the stairs were a bit steep and narrow, it wasn't a problem for us. Additionally, there were road works happening during our stay which caused some noise, but it didn't negatively impact our overall experience.
